KINGSTON, ONAbout Me
My name is Sharlene Anderson. I am of Swampy Cree and Métis ancestry and was raised in northern Manitoba.
Currently, I am proud to serve as the Indigenous Recruitment Coordinator at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. My work focuses on increasing awareness of, and interest in, post-secondary education among Indigenous youth, with the goal of encouraging more applications and enrolment to Queen’s through the Indigenous Student Admission Pathway.
I am grateful to be part of the Network and to connect with youth and their supporters across their communities. Our goal is to help students feel informed, welcomed, and supported as they take their next steps toward post-secondary education.
Please reach out to learn more about the supports, resources, and amazing team at Queen’s!
