Our team works together to support Anishinaabe students through every step of your educational journey, from initial application and course registration, to academic and career planning, social events, and cultural programming, ensuring a seamless and supportive university experience, while promoting and celebrating Anishinaabe culture and practices on campus

At Algoma University, we use the term “Anishinaabe” as an inclusive designation for the original people of Turtle Island: First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people. We choose this term to honour the Anishinaabemowin (Ojibway) language traditional to this territory.
